I started teaching myself how to code through Codecademy. I was hired as the Digital Editor for The University Star and learned much more about using Wordpress as a content management system and working with Bootstrap. I was then hired as a web developer intern for Harris Media where I became proficient in these areas. I then took an internship at C&S Media where I continued creating websites and expanding my full stack development skills.
I created a company site for C&S Media to establish a brand for a company that owns many papers and give advertisers a place to learn more about the company and opportunities available with them.
I created a site for In & Around magazine that met the requirements the owner was looking for and making it easy for the company to update when I was gone.
This site analyzes a database to present an interactive story about the number and types of custody death in the hill country of Texas based on ethnicity and county.
Paper & Coffee is the blog that I have designed and used since the fall of 2014. It includes writings about anything I'm interested in and is where I continue to play with web design and current styles.
This website is a multimedia reporting project for my Web Design and Publishing course. It took a look at the restructuring of student media at Texas State.
This website is tailored towards the universities and colleges that would be interested in purchasing Passion Projcet.
